Using AudioScribe
Recording Your Voice Notes
Getting your thoughts down with AudioScribe is simple. Follow these steps:
Activate AudioScribe: Click the AudioScribe icon in the Voice In popup or use the keyboard shortcut
Alt + S
(Option + S
on Mac).Start Recording: Click the "Start Recording" button. You'll see a visual indicator that recording is active.
Speak Your Mind: Begin dictating your note. AudioScribe will capture your voice in real time.
Stop Recording: When you're finished, click the "Stop Recording" button.
Recording Limit: You can record voice notes up to 15 minutes in length.
Tips for Clear Recordings:
Speak Clearly: Enunciate your words for optimal transcription accuracy.
Minimize Background Noise: Find a quiet environment to reduce interference.
Use a Good Microphone: While not required, a quality microphone can enhance audio clarity.

Customizing Writing Styles:
Go to the Settings within the AudioScribe interface.
Go to "Writing Styles."
Choose from pre-defined styles or create a new one by providing instructions on your desired formatting, tone, and structure. For example, you can create styles for specific email formats, different writing styles (e.g. narrative, persuasive), or particular types of documents (e.g., lab report, meeting agenda).
Quick Selection: If you frequently use different output styles, enable "Quick Selection" in the settings. This will prompt you to choose a style at the end of each dictation, making it easy to switch between different formats on the fly.
